Another wonderfully naïve creature, this horse’s appeal is all in his primitive line and look.

Said equine measures 10 inches long by 10 inches tall to the tip of his ears and 3 inches across his chest.  Stuffed with what feels like cotton batting and rags, he is made out of a heavy black and brown cotton twill.  There is evidence of both treadle and hand stitching.  He is in very good condition with some signs of wear attendant with age and use.  While he appears to have lost his mane and tail a long time ago, he still retains his glass sleeve button eyes.

This is another very good example of this genre of folk toy.  Would enhance any collection or look great displayed as a single focal point in a cupboard, on a shelf or blanket chest!
